Father,
Your amazing love has no end. You even sent Your Son to give us peace on earth and peace with You.
But have we not messed things up in our families, our workplaces, our schools or even our church? We think we are wise enough to run things without the wisdom of the Wonderful Counsellor.
We deceive ourselves that we are mighty enough to restore peace and forget that You are our Mighty God. We take things into our own hands as if we are orphans without an Everlasting Father.
Forgive us for all the conflicts and fights we contribute to in the name of peace. Forgive us for our failure to lead and rule with justice and righteousness.
Help us to trust in You and You alone. Help us to rejoice that the Prince of Peace will increase His reign of peace with no end. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
