O God of the heavens and the earth! You are enthroned above the strength, the wisdom, and all the glory of Man.
There is no one like You. Even so, how many are our idols? How misspent are our time and effort?
Lord, we have not glorified You as You deserve. Forgive us! Teach us afresh to hallow Your name!
Grant us grace to use every ounce of time, energy, and talent – to further Your kingdom and to glorify Your name.
You are worthy, O God! So hear our prayer. Respond to our cry. And glorify Your name. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.
