Father,
You chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before You. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by Your loving hands.
But we forget how precious we are in Your eyes. We find our identities in our social economic status. We look for our identities from the words of people or even the number of likes on social media.
Forgive us for not cherishing our blood-bought identity in Christ Jesus. Forgive us for under-appreciating the privilege of being a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a people for Your own possession. Forgive us for failing to uphold unity in Your church.
Help us experience the freedom out of darkness into Your marvellous light. Help us, as recipients of Your mercy, to be merciful. Help us to be blameless and holy before You. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
