We are excited to invite you to be part of the Agape Baptist Church Missions Trip to Timor-Leste, as we celebrate our 22nd year of partnership with Central Shalom School in Dili. From 14 to 21 June, we will have the privilege of serving children and teachers from kindergarten to high school, bringing hope, love, and the Gospel into their lives.
🌍 Mission Highlights
Classroom Outreach (3 Days)
We will go from classroom to classroom, conducting 40-minute sessions that creatively share the Gospel through games, crafts, and object lessons, engaging students in a meaningful and joyful way.
Teachers’ Training (2 Days)
At the request of the Shalom School Principal, mission trippers will conduct Teachers’ Training, equipping and encouraging local educators in their calling.
Training Topics Requested by Principal Rosa:
1️⃣ Effective teaching methodologies
2️⃣ Managing naughty or challenging students
3️⃣ Identifying students with learning difficulties
4️⃣ Christian-based counselling skills
5️⃣ Preparing good lesson plans (especially for new teachers)
Comprehensive Support
Alumni and local guides will support us with translation and logistics, ensuring a smooth, effective, and impactful mission experience.
Commitment in Prayer & Preparation
Participants will commit to prayer and attend four monthly preparation meetings (online or in person), helping us grow spiritually and prepare practically for the mission.

The estimated cost is $1,300, which includes food, airfare, transportation, and accommodation.
