In Agape Baptist Church, Christian Education (CE) serves the purpose of spiritual formation. Specifically, CE aims for 3 areas of growth: 

a. Understanding of God’s Word
b. Appreciation of Biblical doctrine
c. Practical application of God’s truths

We believe that right thinking about God fuels right feelings towards God, and thus the courses we offer seek to bring about such a renewal in the participants’ minds, that it helps to shape their affections and motivations in loving the gospel, and living a gospel-centered life.

COURSES

In this Christian Education class, Pastor GL will give a thematic overview of the first 2 books of the Bible – Genesis & Exodus.

Through this course, participants will understand:

  1. The thematic outlines of Genesis and Exodus
  2. How the gospel is especially revealed through these 2 books
  3. How the gospel impacts and shapes our study of specific passages in the 2 books

Dates: 2 Wednesdays (21 Jan & 28 Jan 2026)
Time: 8pm – 930pm 
Venue: L.O.R. Room in Church (1 Dorset Road) 

Format: Lecture + small group discussion

Some claim that AI is going to usher humanity into a golden age of unprecedented ease and prosperity. Others fear AI will spiral into an apocalyptic future – even the extinction of mankind.

How should we Christians think about AI? How should we approach the use of AI tools for our lives, for our ministries, for our work?

More importantly, how does the Gospel shape the way we understand and engage with AI?
