Christian belief involves taking a leap of faith – but it’s not a blind leap of faith. Such faith is undergirded by reasons and signs.

Yet sometimes we go to the other extreme. We try to remove any leap of faith whatsoever from Christian faith. Here we confuse faith with airtight reasoning and irrefutable signs.

How do we hold that tension? How does Christian belief lead to courage – not recklessness nor an aversion for risk?
