God’s desire is for our human flourishing, but many times, we experience longings that are contrary to His will and plans for us.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus points out one such area, specifically regarding adultery. He reveals that at its root, adultery is driven by a certain kind of longing, which is far more pervasive and dangerous than we commonly imagine it to be.
