Father,
We are thankful that we worship a missional God. Ever since the fall in the Garden of Eden, the rescue mission of mankind through Your Son was set in motion.
We confess that many times, our mission is not Your mission. We make our selfish dreams to be the focus of our lives. We pursue earthly agendas to make us comfortable, famous, powerful, wealthy, and safe.
Forgive us for putting our minds on the things of man rather than the things of God. Forgive us for expecting You to serve us rather than for us to serve You in humility. Forgive us for minimizing Your supreme power and might.
Help us, O God, to be Your missionaries. Use us in Your grand scheme to proclaim the Gospel in every corner of the world so every nation and tribe and every language and people may bow before You. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
