Heavenly Father,
We thank you that we can come into Your presence. We confess that our hearts have yearned for other things beside You.
Why do we feel empty? Why do we feel dry? Isn’t it because we have loved another – with all our strength, heart and mind?
We’ve spent ourselves on things that cannot satisfy. But You have called us to drink deeply of Your love, and be satisfied.
So come, Spirit of Adoption! Lead us back to our Abba, our Father. Help us rest in His great love. We pray all this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
