Father, You are the Faithful One! When we were far from You – You drew near. While we were still sinners – You loved and saved us. We give You all our praise!
But have we been faithful? In the different seasons of life, have we reciprocated Your faithful love? Have we clung to Your word and Your promises? Have we pursued Christ-likeness?
During hectic seasons, we are too busy for You. During hopeful seasons, too distracted for You. During painful seasons, too broken for You. During fulfilling seasons, too ambitious for You.
Father, forgive us. Help us to heed Your word, today! By Your mercy, help us be faithful, as You have been faithful. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.
