Father in Heaven,
We come before You with heavy hearts. We confess how easily we receive Your grace yet neglect walking by faith.
Forgive us for settling into convenience rather than living out the gospel. We admit that we sometimes forget what You have done for us and try to earn Your favor through our actions.
Forgive us for placing our faith in our own works rather than in Your saving grace.
Help us, O Lord, to embrace Your saving grace and to live it out in faith through our actions and as an outflow from Your Spirit. Holy Spirit, guide us to walk according to Your purpose and will.
