Heavenly Father, our gracious Provider, our Fount of every blessing! We thank You for every good gift You’ve given to us. Truly, Your grace has been enough.
We ask Your forgiveness for forgetting Your gracious provision. Too often, we count our losses, our sacrifices, our unmet needs – but we neglect Your provisions, both past and present.
We ask Your forgiveness for clinging tightly to our money. How easily we become fearful, idolatrous, and self-centred, when parting with our money!
But even in our weakness, You are strong! Your grace abounds for us – even in this area of generosity. So in faith we say, “Lord, here we are! Spend us.”
We ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.
