In Luke 6, we hear Jesus preaching a heart-stirring sermon to his listeners. At the end of the sermon, he emphasised his true identity with a profoundly insightful parable about two houses that were built – one of which stood firm, while the other was destroyed. Clearly, he intended this sermon not just for his original audience, but also for us today. But what is the significance of this parable on our lives? What did Jesus intend for us to learn?
