Many people would readily agree that they have experienced kindness from others in their lives. Yet clearly, not all expressions of kindness have the same impact. Some acts of kindness are easily forgotten, while some others are so impactful that they are literally life-changing. In 2 Samuel 9, we discover such incredible, life-changing kindness. In this story, King David very intentionally seeks out a man named Mephibosheth, who is lame in both his feet. He brings this lame man into his presence and invites him to feast at his table. In this sermon entitled God’s Kindness in the Life of a Lame Man, Pastor GL will reveal to us how this story ultimately points to the beauty of God’s covenant.
