Father,
We come before You this morning as Your chosen, redeemed, blood-bought sons and daughters.
We celebrate the remarkable transformation that has taken place in everyone who believes in Jesus. How marvellous it is that in Christ, we are a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
We celebrate that the Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in us. We have been transformed into immortal beings.
We celebrate that we are no longer slaves to sin, gratifying the desires of the flesh, doing evil deeds. You, being rich in mercy, set us free in Jesus, purifying us through His blood so that we may be presented to You holy and blameless.
We are filled with inexpressible gratitude that You would turn Your enemies into Your beloved children at such a high cost. The resurrection of Jesus is our resurrection, turning death to life; delay and disappointment to hope. We worship and praise You in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
