Heavenly Father, we confess that we have not been always obedient to Your calling. When You have given the authority and power to go and serve others – we choose to stay in our comfortable spaces.
Forgive, Lord, for we easily disregard obeying you when it becomes inconvenient to us.
We allow ourselves to blend in with society because it is easier for us. Rather than being a light of the world, a city on a hill that cannot be
hidden.
Holy Spirit, would you come, convict and renew our hearts? To be a light in this dark world that God has called us to be in Christ.
That we may extend our hands and sacrifice our time imitating the One who gave it all for us. We lift this in Jesus’ name. Amen
