Father, we thank You for Your love for us. No matter our race, our background, our achievements, our failures – You love us, and receive us as Your beloved children.
Father where You are so gracious and kind, we are instead calculative and discriminating. We often withhold the gospel from different kinds of people.
Where Your grace extends from Your holy love, our reluctance comes from our sinfulness: a preoccupation with our busyness, our inconvenience, our comfort, our fears, our preferences – the list goes on.
Holy Spirit, form a heart of true, Christ-like love in us. A love that conquers our unwilling flesh. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.
