Agape Baptist Church’s vision is to be the catalyst in the city for the gospel. We believe what this city needs is nothing less than the gospel. Yet we also recognise that no one church can reach the entire city with the gospel. To that end, we are committed to becoming a church-planting church. How you can pray for us
1. God’s Guidance and Clear Direction
Pray that our leaders will discern God’s plan, timing, and direction for the new church plant. Ask His Spirit to unite them with one heart and vision rooted in the Gospel, so that all their decisions and steps advance Christ’s kingdom and bring glory to Him.
2. Spiritual Renewal in Agape
Pray that this journey draws us closer to Jesus, and strengthens our dependence on Him. Ask God to refresh our hearts with a renewed love for Jesus, and to give us a greater passion to share His good news with others.
3. Joyful Participation and Prayer Covering
Pray that every member of Agape will joyfully take part—through praying, serving, giving, or going—out of a deep love for Christ and gratitude for the Gospel. Ask for a strong prayer covering over this work from the very start and long after the new church plant is launched.
