In collaboration with Alliance of Guest Workers Outreach (AGWO), we have ‘adopted’ a factory-converted dormitory in Tuas. It houses 95 workers who are Indian, Bangladeshi and Chinese nationals. By the grace of God and the generosity of Agapians, we have managed to raise enough funds to sponsor 2 nourishing meals a day for these workers for the whole duration of the circuit breaker.
In addition, during this Ramadan period (23rd April to 23rd May), a group of volunteer drivers has been rostered to deliver pre-dawn meals to the Muslim workers living at the dormitory. All meals are delivered by 4 AM every morning. We are thankful to God for each of our volunteers who has stepped forward in sacrificial love. May God be glorified as we reflect His love to these workers!
